Arthur Bayldon letters and manuscripts, 1890-1900.

The collection consists of 24 handwritten letters and 14 pages of manuscript poems and notes, dated between 1890-1900. Most of the letters, written in Australia, are to Australian publisher J.R. Tutin. They are rather personal, as Bayldon bares his soul describing his writing, his thoughts, and his circumstances. There are also several letters to Edward Tristrom, primarily concerned with printing his works, with some personal news and observations. Also includes manuscript drafts and copies of some of his poems, some with notes.
